The U.S. Department of State publishes
Background Notes on approximately 170 countries worldwide. These are brief, factual online
pamphlets with information on each country's culture, history, geography, economy, government and
current political situation. Some
print copies are also

Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law
An advocacy site for mental health issues and people with mental disabilities. Provides
current information in the areas of legislation, aging, children's issues, fair housing, palliative
