Library Catalog: Viewing Your Library Record

To look at your Case Western Reserve University library circulation record, choose the "My Library Account" option on the main Library Catalog page. The system will ask you to enter your Case ID and Password.  After you enter the information press Enter.

Once you have entered all of the above information correctly the system will display a summary of your circulation record, including your address and telephone number.  You can change your e-mail address.  If any of this information is incorrect, please notify someone at the circulation desk. It is also wise to make sure that the registrar has the correct information on file.

The system displays all items you currently have checked out, the number of holds if any (this will include OhioLINK requests), and any fines you may owe.  You can sort by: Due Date; Renew All; Renew Selected.

If you click on Items Checked Out you will get a display of the titles checked out to you, along with the due date and the call number. If it is close to the due date you may click on the renew box to renew your book(s). Books can only be renewed once. Then you must return them to the lending library and check them in. If there are no requests for the title, you may check it out again.

If you click on the Requests (hold) Outstanding entry then you will get a list of holds you have placed. If the hold is for an OhioLINK book you will get a message as to its status.

OL REQUESTED means that your request is being processed.
IN TRANSIT means that your book is on the way from another OhioLINK library.
OL RECEIVED (along with a library location) means that the book has been checked in and is ready for pickup at that library.

You may also cancel holds on this screen by clicking on the cancel box.  If the hold is for a Case book you will be able to see the date that the book is expected to be returned.

If you owe a fine or your material is overdue call any Case campus library circulation desk for more detailed information.

NOTE: Once your material is overdue you cannot renew it.
