Each Library Catalog entry gives you information concerning a book's call number, location
and status. Here is an example:

The following status codes are used to indicate whether a book is available to be checked
out:
Check Shelves: The book is not currently checked out and should be on the
shelf arranged by the call number. (You will need to know both the
Location and the
Call Number of the book.)
Due (followed by a date): The book is checked out and is due back on the
date shown. If you want to be notified when the book is returned
Place a Hold on the book at the Circulation Desk. A copy of the book may
also be requested through OhioLINK.
In Transit: The book has been checked in at another library and is due back
in the next day or so.
Library Use Only: The book is a reference book and may not be checked out of
the library.
Missing: The book is missing from the library shelves. The book can be
requested through OhioLINK.
In Repair: The book is damaged and is being repaired. The book can be
requested through OhioLINK.
