Library Catalog: Using OhioLINK

OhioLINK is a statewide library and information network linking universities, colleges, technical and community colleges, and the State Library of Ohio. Case Western Reserve University’s participation in OhioLINK allows students, faculty and staff to access the collections of over 89 libraries. The OhioLINK website includes the following sections. Research Databases:

Links you to over 60 databases (including Academic Search Premier, Lexis-Nexis Universe, PsycINFO, Sociological Abstracts) that index and abstract the journal literature. Selected articles are also available in full-text format.

Full Text Services:

Lets you access the Electronic Journal Center (full-text articles from recent issues of journals distributed by specific publishers), several dictionaries and encyclopedias, selected Ohio newspapers and other electronic resources.

Catalogs:

Leads you to the collections of libraries participating in the OhioLINK system and allows you

OhioLINK’s Pickup Anywhere:

OhioLINK’s Pickup Anywhere is now available for use. Pickup Anywhere is a new service being offered by
OhioLINK that gives us more control of the items we request through the OhioLINK Library Catalog. Pickup Anywhere will allow you to request materials be delivered to any participating academic library in Ohio. For example, if you are an MSASS Intensive Weekend student but you live in Akron, you can request a book be delivered directly to the University of Akron. Or maybe you are in Toledo and wish to have your books sent to the University of Toledo. Pickup Anywhere gives you the opportunity to pick up items at a more convenient location.

Digital Resource Commons:

Provides access to images, sound, video and numeric data. Links to the AP Photo Archive and the full text and images of Harper’s Weekly.

Members:

This page provides a map of Ohio indicating the location of all OhioLINK libraries. An alphabetical list of members provides links to library home pages, phone numbers and hours.
