Databases For Research


Databases are used to locate citations, abstracts and (sometimes) the full text of journal articles. Databases allow you to search by keyword, subject and author in order to find information on your topic. Some databases also allow you to enter the name of a journal article.

Free Databases on the Web

This link takes you to a selection of databases on the web of interest to social workers. There is generally no charge for accessing the databases, although some databases may require the user to select a password or provide other identifying information.
