Case Network Account (also known as Case ID)
This account is needed for remote authentication and e-mail. Your User ID will be a
combination of your initials and a number. You will be creating a password to go with your User
ID!
If you lose or forget the password to this account, it can be reset using the
Network ID Password Reset
Page. Any other questions about your Case Network Account can be directed to the
Case Information Technology Services Help Desk by calling (216)
368-HELP (368-4357).
MSASS Lab Account
Your User ID will be the same as your Case Network (e-mail) account. It allows you to get on
the computer lab machines and other computers in the Harris Library. MSASS Lab accounts will be set
up during Library Orientation. We recommend that your Lab Password should also be the same as your
Case Network account password.

PIN
This is created through the
Library Catalog in
View Your Library Record. It is tied to your
Library record and allows you to view what you have checked out, status of items
requested through OhioLINK, and allows you to renew items. Your PIN can be the same as
your other passwords or different. Don't use something like your name or phone number or street
