I am the reference and instruction librarian at the Harris Library. In my position, I am
responsible for providing in-person, telephone, and virtual reference services to students,
faculty, and staff. I also organize the library orientation for incoming students and provide
guidance to faculty on using Blackboard for creating their course sites. My other duties include
providing classroom instruction, and collection development related to community development and
nonprofit management.
Prior to working at the Harris Library, I was a reference librarian at the Foundation
Center-Cleveland where I provided reference and bibliographic instruction in the areas of nonprofit
management, fundraising, and philanthropy. In addition, I was responsible for acquisitions and
website development. My educational background includes a B.A. in History from Oberlin College and
a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan. Currently, I serve as the
webmaster for the Cleveland Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA).
