Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network
The Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) Network is a nationwide resource for
addiction-related information funded by the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration's
(SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). "ATTC vision is to unify science, education
and services to transform the lives of individuals and families affected by alcohol and other drug
addiction." Resources on this site include:
Licensing & Certification Requirements for all U.S. States; SAMHSA's Substance
Abuse Treatment Facility Locator; full text cutting-edge research articles taken from the journal,

American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work
This organization sets national practice standards in clinical social work. Site includes the
ABE's Code of Ethics and various advocacy positions related to standards of clinical practice in
social work. The site also provides access to the ABE Directory of Board Certified Diplomats and
their newsletter
The Diplomate now available free online. Students can also find information about their
"Student Awards Program", a cash award for second year students, given to five students annually.

Association of Social Work Boards
The Association provides information on social work licensing and certification. The site
includes links to state boards of social work, selected schools of social work, test centers, and
ACE continuing education providers. Check out their new web-based version of

. Replacing the biennially print edition this new
free database system makes comparative data on social work licensing widely

Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board
Information on certification, credentialing fees, and the
Chemical Dependency Counselor Code of Ethics can be found on this site. Once you get to

State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board
In addition to credentials, this site also gives you access to appropriate state laws,

Social Work Examination Services Inc. (SWES)
SWES provides on-site review courses and home study programs designed to prepare social
workers for license exams. The site includes links to State Licensing Boards as well as information

Social Work Licensure Exam Review
A test preparation site for the ASWB Social Work Examination. It is designed for social
workers that are trying to become licensed and includes exam tips, test strategies, and advice from
people who have taken the exam. The site offers additional services (such as sample exam questions)

Social Work Licensure Exam Review Course
