Favorite thing about Cleveland: “The vibrant nonprofit community.” – Amy Restorick Roberts, Masters Class of 2000
Cleveland is a city that believes in community service. The local United Way, Jewish Community Federation and Catholic Charities are nationally recognized for their fundraising accomplishments and for their reputation in providing prime training grounds for national leadership. The City of Cleveland continues to support and encourage innovations in health and human services.
As evidence of their individual commitment, Cleveland citizens consistently set standards for per capita contributions to charitable organizations. In addition, they perform more volunteer work than residents of any other American city of comparable size.
