Carrie Johnston - Staff, Children and Families |
After graduating with a B.A. in Psychology from Depauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, Carrie
worked for a year in Geneva, Switzerland as an au pair for a family with two children with learning
disabilities. Last year, she began enrolled at MSASS with a concentration in Child Mental
Health. After working in a Cleveland Public School as a school social worker, Carrie began to
focus her career on working in the field of Early Intervention. This interest in young
children has been a part of Carrie's life since her early teens when she began to tutor and work
with kids with autism and Down's syndrome. Once Carrie finishes her MSW this coming
Spring, she hopes to combine her interests in young children and travelling by working in the
field of international adoption.
