Bob Herman - Staff, Children and Families |
Bob Herman is a doctoral student at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. He has an
M.A. in psychology from Duquesne University and an M.S.W. from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. Bob has 16 years experience as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and consultant to
child mental health and educational programs. Most of this work has been in early childhood
intervention addressing the needs of families with children with behavioral problems and
developmental delays. His interests include early childhood intervention, increasing awareness of
developmental delay as a contributor to behavioral problems in young children, family-centered
social work practice, and the impact of social policies on health outcomes for families and
children .
