Welcome to our alumni and development page. Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences alumni are
7,000 strong living in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands
and 34 countries around the world.
Our alumni successfully pursue social work careers in a variety of fields that are both
traditional and non-traditional. They distinguish themselves as prominent educators, government
officials, researchers and chief executives of national and regional agencies, as well as
professionals in such diverse settings as alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, adoption and
foster care, children and family services, schools, private practice, aging, employee assistance
and corrections. We help people restore and enhance their capacity for social functioning as
individuals or in families, groups or communities. We change the face of the earth for the better,
one person at a time.
Mandel School Alumni give back by contributing time and financial support. They work on Alumni
committees to raise money, recruit students and encourage life long learning. See
Alumni Information. Alumni have
provided professorships, scholarships and annual gifts.
See all of these activities come
from the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
