Alumni Information
The MSASS Alumni Association
Mission:
We are diverse graduates of the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences with knowledge,
experience and resources dedicated to enriching our school, communities and the social work
profession.
History
As an MSASS graduate, you are automatically a member of the MSASS Alumni
Association. The MSASS Alumni Association has been an integral part of the school since
1931, when it was founded by Margaret H. Johnson, a 1919 alumna of the School of Applied
Social Sciences (SASS). She later became the school's first female dean.
Your active membership builds and sustains life-long relationships, encourages learning and
professional growth, celebrates the success of alumni, faculty and students, and promotes the
school's accomplishments.
